Worming hens

I've just had a faecal worm egg count done for my poultry and it's come back with a negligible count! I am so pleased, it demonstrates that previous worming has worked and saves having to worm them now. Well worth the cost - would have cost more to buy wormer.

Now for the sheep ...  :)

FEC are also really useful for identifying types of worms and the most appropriate wormer for the job. I have just finished worming my Turkeys and Turkeys and will do a count in a couple of months along with the sheep and pigs.

I do mine through the vet so we can chat through the results but you can buy the on line too.
