Just got the report back from 2 of my pigs I took to slaughter, it does say that there is a lesion on the kidney from one pig, I am guessing this is not a big problem as they haven't rang to discuss it, just wondering what may cause such a lesion?

Lesion I understand to be a cut. It could be that the slaughter person accidently cut the kidney when removing it.
I had a report of contamination on one pig last September - when opening the carcass they had accidently cut a little too deep and the gut contents had contacted the meat. It was cleaned with no problems.
If you are concerned, phone the slaughter house and ask them - they will be able to tell you exactly what it was.

Is there not something to do with worms and organs? Cant remember the details but I know sometimes if the pig might have had a case of worms it can mean that the offal is affected and wont be returned?

As a vet, a lesion is 'something wrong'. This can be a wound (eg. a cut/bite wound), an infected area, an area of bleeding or other pathological change.
Without more specifics from the slaughterhouse, I couldn't tell you what caused it.

I think that is to do with the liver usually, if an animal has had fluke the liver becomes condemned and cannot be consumed but the carcase is fine. I would ask the slaughterhouse what that would mean. I have never heard of worms in the kidney before. On the other hand it could have had stones in the past?
