Can someone please enlighten me as to why the little cap for Supaverm which has the little sticky out bit to attach tubing for the dosing gun to also has a second hole through which the liquid flows freely when one turns the jar upside down to get the flow into the tubing?  Does that even make sense?  Bloody stuff was flowing everywhere before I noticed.   :-[

glad it's not just me to have experienced it Helly. I was feeling pretty foolish when I saw the trail of white all over my leggings!  Was thinking it would be easier to decant into another bottle!

Yeah very annoying.  We jubilee clip our tubes on to the bottles too, once or twice we ve looked down and seen precious £££ running away, and not the nicest thing to be wearing or have all over the floor.

I noticed this with my crovect when I was using the last bit up but it hadn't always leaked. I took the top off and could see the second hole was leaking. I had a new bottle so I looked at the lid on that and I could see the second hole is like a vent but on my first bottle the "vent bit" had detached and left a leaking hole. I just swapped tops.

I keep an odd top as something I once bought didn't have a cap you could attach a drench gun to.

Simple answer it's faulty  either throw it away and try a different one or  block the hole with tape or glue if its your only one ,  have to say I have only the odd breather cap leak  and then only after much use , normally the neck breaks on the  pipe connector
