My porkers go off at around 60kgs deadweight; a good commercial lamb is 20kgs deadweight.

However, I think the proportion of butchered meat is probably higher with the porker, so perhaps work on 3.5 lambs to 1 porker?

If you're comparing to primitive lambs, though, the lambs would be smaller.  I got 55kgs butchered meat off 4 Castlemilk Moorit hoggets.

And some porkers will be larger...

Hope that was some sort of help, anyway!

I GOS finisher equals just over 3 Southdown lambs or 2.5 hoggetts in our freezer.  Sausages use up quite a lot of space because even the best quality also contain filler.
