Thing is with large supermarkets, it puts you in a bit of a quandary sometimes (well, with me anyway). It's cheap and easy to shop there, but they limit your choices, and tell you what to buy. They put little shops out of business, and you know that the cheap price tag on their items is not the true cost - there is someone, somewhere, possibly in a third world country that's really paying the price of it. But what do you do if you're on a limited income, and they are the only things within your budget? (or the only shop within a 20 mile radius). I'm extremely excellent at feeling guilty and beating myself up about it, and really envy those who don't let things like these bother them too much  :-\

I feel guilty about these things too, but when you have to feed yourself and dogs, cats, chickens and ducks (okay I know, my choice ::)) on a limited pension, then better quality veg is an occasional treat.
