What a lovely boy indeed! Very impressive set of horns.
Boys can't have sugar beet, really? Can anyone explain why that is? (I thought it was high protein that was a potential problem for males).
MALES can certainly eat sugar beet pulp , it is standard feed for sale/show rams , "Eblex Better Returns " recommends it . High protein is also not a problem . Sheep feed often contains CALCINED MAGNESITE to reduce the chances of grass staggers ,this is the main problem or the infeed balance of CALCIUM and PHOSPHORUS is wrong for males .
