I had one at midday, one at tea time and one early morning while still dark (probably around 5).
Keeper of Jacob sheep, several hens, Michael the Cockerel and some small children.

Reading this thread and feeling so lucky- Our field is next to the house and the sheep tend to sleep just outside my bedroom window, so night checking only involves shining a torch out the bedroom window  :D
As the saying "a watched kettle never boils", could this also be said about "a watched ewe never lambs"  :huff:

Very nere canock chase last spring it was on the A5 20 miles from canock
