Been there, done that, all my sympathies are with you - life is so unfair. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Very very hard to go through with but the right thing to do.  Only ever done it once, with my beautiful boy a couple of years ago who was too aggressive at times to guarantee everyone's safety all of the time. I think once I realised this, it was the turning point of my view on keeping him. I'd had him since 8 weeks old so couldn't blame his upbringing. It is the realisation that you no longer can risk anybody any longer and the situation isn't improving.

Dingo experienced love and affection and that means so much! Sometimes we cannot heal the pain or mental instability within the animal we love. He was an ill and unstable dog on the inside and that fact means you had no choice for his health and welfare.   :bouquet:

I feel so sorry for you. Making the right decision is often the hardest, and remember he will have known nothing. There are too many people out there that would do nothing and then not want to face the consequences of their inaction.
