Hi everyone my wife's hobby means I need to get large bones off a cow horse pig etc for her jewellery making hobby I don't know any slaughter houses myself hence me asking here thanks in advance andy s.wales..

buy a whole pig/lamb from butcher - comes with free bones  ;D ;D

id love to see your jewellery as i have some lovely bone items off ebay. amazing detail.

Ask your butcher to get them from an abattoir. They cost nothing and you could resiprocate with a bit of jewellery for his wife maybe. :fc:

How large?  do they need to be sun bleached or anything like that?  I'm assuming abbatoir or butcher personally... I make guitar string jewellery and so get my strings from musicians , similar sort of thing  :)

Find a real butcher who buys in whole beasts rather than just sections, they should have the bigger bones you need you would probably nee to reserve some to be collected next time they get the right thing through for cutting!

Definitely ask your butcher they have to pay to get rid of them.

We get as many as we want free of charge from the Abattoir for the dogs
