Chronogest sponges

Once you open the pack of sponges do you have to use them all at once?  I'm looking to do mine in two groups, two weeks apart, and don't want to have to buy two packs...

Seal it well with as little air as possible, keep it cool, it will be fine, didn't do this and tried using them nine months post-opening and it wasn't fine!
