Shetland cross charollais ewe lambs, Reading
« on: July 14, 2014, 08:20:30 pm »
I have the following for sale

3x Charollais cross Shetland ewe lambs, April born,

3x Charollais/Hampshire down cross Shetland ewe lambs, April born

Two of the lambs have come out quite hampshire down like, they look like southdowns/ryelands, the rest are either white faces or speckle faced

I would keep them all but I really would like to buy more pedigree charmoise hill ewes and I dont have the money unless I sell some sheep!

These have been born outside and never been fed creep or cake, so cany only improve if you buy them, they wont go and melt, they should make around 35-40kg by tupping time and can be bred as ewe lambs, these make lovely milky ewes with more growth and shape to them than pure shetland ewes have, they also have lovely fleece's and one of my best fleece's this year was off the ewe for sale below

I also have a shearling Charollais cross shetland who was not put to the tup last year as I wasn't sure I would keep her or not, she must weigh around 55-60 kilo and is a very chunky smart looking sheep, will be great to go to the tup this year

I can deliver for fuel costs, Lambs are all located in between Reading and Basingstoke, just off the a33

All lambs have been wormed and crovected and are relatively easy to handle, not as jumpy as the pure shetlands

£75 for each ewe lamb, £80 for the shearling as we kept her over winter
