I'm looking for information - preferably own experience of swine pox disease.
I have three pet pigs living indoors and they got swine pox. From several sources I've understood that it is often compound to poor hygien. But this is can not be the case with my little pigs. They as said lives indoors and showers every evening, sleeps in their own bed with clean sheets. The incupations time is quite short for this, so it can not be the farms they comes from or the vet. We do not have any pig farms around or any contacts with "pig people" so even the idea of eventual parasites doesn't fit in the picture.

I am glad that the disease it self is quite mild and seems not bother my little hearts (6 months yorkshire and two tree months mangliza mix).

But I'd like to hear from pig owners who have experience of this about their teories from how their pigs got it and how everything went.

Yes, they actually live indoor with me as pets like my dogs and cats. Do their business outdoors as dogs do.
We live on a farm, but as said these are my little pets. And yes, I know they will grow to large pigs one day. Lyyli is actually already bigger than me (you might realise that Lyyli is not me, Miss Lyyli is a pig  )

Theres nobody loves their pigs more than me but seeing your facebook page makes think i'm actually not as extreme as i thought!
But to your swine pox problem, i don't think looking at it that it is pox i think they're suffering from a condition called 'Greasy pig' http://www.thepigsite.com/diseaseinfo/49/greasy-pig-disease

Washing them in an antiseptic solution eg savlon/dettol will help and make sure they are injected with an invermectin based product every six months as part of your health program(greasy pig is part of the mange family)

Thank you Mandy for your answer. 
The Swine Pox was diagnosed by a vet. And today the skin eruptions look very different again. So I believe my vet has right diagnose on these little hearts of mine. They all got Ivermectin injection when they arrived, since I do not like to have any small uninvited creeps indoors.

If your vet is very good with pigs and knows their diseases well then he is most probably right however vets who do not know pigs well can be wrong, it happens. The main thing is they get well again.
Your animals look well cared for and very happy, i hope they are well soon, they may find a swim in a muddy wallow helpful as it soothes the skin.
My vet once told me my pigs yards were too clean! so a little dirt and mud is good for them now and then. You can always wash them off and towel them dry before they come back in.
