Advance notice : Manx Loaghtan fleeces wanted, Cumbria
« on: May 19, 2014, 12:32:53 pm »
I met Sue from Sheepfold on Saturday and she was telling me they will soon be commissioning another run of Manx Loaghtan yarn.

They are a small operation so are prepared to buy up small numbers of fleeces from small sheepkeepers.  They need the majority of the fleece to be sourced from Cumbria so they can sell it through the Woolclip, but can take some from surrounding areas.

I suggested she posted on the Marketplace on here, so hopefully she will be along shortly to explain more about it.

If anyone wants to contact Sheepfold direct, their website is http://www.sheepfold.co.uk  and their email is sales at <you guessed it>

Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
