sorry this has probably been said a hundred times before but i cant find any links on here so i am sorry in advance
i have just picked up 2 new weaners both brothers and 8 weeks old the breeder i got them off just used to throw feed into the stable for them and the other 6 sibling they have. now they are home with me i want to make sure they are getting enough but not too much. am i correct in saying that i should be feeding them 1lb of nuts a day for for every month until 5months and keep it at 5lb a day  or is it 1lb of nuts every feed equalling 2lb of nuts a day sorry if i am wrong but i am sure i read this somewhere but for the life of me i cant find it anywhere

thanks in advance

Yes 1 pound per month a day. So yours need 2lb split into 2 feeds. Good luck.

I follow a slightly different feed regime, and do 1.5 lb a day at 8-12 weeks, 2.5lb a day at 12-16 weeks, 3.5 lb a day at 16-18 weeks, then 3 lb a day from 18 - 24 or thereabouts. Split into two feeds. Up it or down it depending on how they look, nice covering, but being able to feel the spine and ribs still is what I aim for.
