I don't use it now but its great for domestic cage birds to keep their beaks trimmed and I used it with my  chinchillas to help with teeth. I would buy it bagged with 2-3 pieces for appx £1-1.50

I do have a supply yes, I collected hundreds off the beach last year placed them in 2 rainwater barrels to wash them through over winter (remove salt) then forgot about them until today when I went to move water butts so I have about enough to fill 3 x 25kg sacks

no, i dont have any budgies anymore. 

if they put seashells on the land here, maybe you could do the same with them?

Try Internet selling.  Or a petshop or two will probably buy in bulk to sell on in small quantities
