Coloured Ryeland ewe wanted
« on: March 02, 2014, 12:24:54 am »
Hello,
I'm looking for a Coloured Ryeland in lamb ewe or a ewe with lamb/s at foot.
My sons ewe gave birth 3 weeks too soon and both lambs died.
Needless to say he's devastated.
Please help
Thanks

Another Carmarthenshire small holder ..... you just missed a meet up. I wonder if Sally has seen your post.

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

Katy, Sorry I can't help as I only have 3 coloured ewes myself although hope they are all expecting.
I really feel for your son. When I lost my first lamb last year it was bad enough but for a small person its really tough to understand.
Would these have been Tomas's lambs?

Hello Sally,

He is gutted love him, trying to find him another one or two ewes in lamb now.

Yes they'd have been tomos' lambs sadly :(

As the saying goes where you have livestock you have dead stock :/
