Anyone selling a chiller?
« on: February 01, 2014, 09:34:05 am »
Hello everyone. I'm looking for a smallish chiller/display unit (the kind you serve over) for use at farmers' markets. Got a very large upright one, but need something more portable.
Was just wondering whether anyone had one for sale.
I'm in Caerphilly, but don't mind travelling a couple of hours if the price is right.

Plenty of ex shop ones on ebay but they're not very portable. We had to buy new in the end after a long time looking and bearing in mind that when the odd suitable second hand one came up it was nearly as much as a new one.

Yes, I've had a good look around, thanks.
I just thought it was worth asking here. You never know what people might want to sell but just haven't got round to doing so. I've got loads of stuff here which I really should sell. Must get round to advertising it all soon.

Hi liz

I have been looking for a small chiller too, seems harder to come by than the larger ones. the only problem I seem to
Have is can't get in to any !,,,

Have rang loads, they all seem to have meat producers on a waiting list, must be getting more popular.
Nowhere local to me, even thinking about running one myself, going to see how much red tape involved.

I would try and do a little different to the stall next door, but they still say no sob sob !,,,,   lol

Ps did you try out the pancetta
