HiThey're domestic pigeons of a breed called Birmingham Rollers. They are performing pigeons, which means that they fly in a rather special and spectacular manner. They stop flying midflight and roll towards the ground. they will roll for 15 to 20 foot before starting to fly again. They aren't trained to do this, its a genetic trait that the breed has.
