Mel - do have any links to a wb site. My brother pops over there about 3 times a year and will retire soon. He is keen to leave the UK and has looked at our area but given he speaks fluent German he leans to D.

If he's a german speaker he will fully understand that he won't get a static caravan for 40k in germany !

Verdfish....no not a static caravan but a livable in (huge) house and outbuildings. When we came over we too thought that Germany would be expensive BUT the nearer you get to the border the cheaper the houses are. One friend from west germany couldn't believe the prices too.

There are others but these are the biggest. We bought through Kiesslich....and another Brit here through Horniig (they also have a monthly auction)

We would be glad to help with any other questions.
