My previous 8 weaners wouldn't touch sugar beet soaked or dry but loved boiled spuds. Tonight I had to buy sugar beet pellets no pig nuts left in the shop!! They loved it? How strange are they all. I love pigs  ;D

Yes its amazing how different they can all be. That's part of the enjoyment of keeping small numbers of pigs, you get to know each one, its likes & dislikes. We even have one pig who we swear can count, each night he gets 4 quarters of apple before going to bed, if the apples are small I just half them but the cheeky monkey head butts me for two more pieces and won't go to bed until he's had the four pieces. ;D

My Middle whites are the same.  None of them will touch Brussel sprouts whereas i have had lots of pigs who gorge on them.  One of my sows loves carrots yet my boar won't touch them!!
