My previous 8 weaners wouldn't touch sugar beet soaked or dry but loved boiled spuds. Tonight I had to buy sugar beet pellets no pig nuts left in the shop!! They loved it? How strange are they all. I love pigs

Yes its amazing how different they can all be. That's part of the enjoyment of keeping small numbers of pigs, you get to know each one, its likes & dislikes. We even have one pig who we swear can count, each night he gets 4 quarters of apple before going to bed, if the apples are small I just half them but the cheeky monkey head butts me for two more pieces and won't go to bed until he's had the four pieces.

Be carefull about saying you feed Boiled anything unless you have seperate cooking facilities from the kitchen to do such !

My Middle whites are the same.  None of them will touch Brussel sprouts whereas i have had lots of pigs who gorge on them.  One of my sows loves carrots yet my boar won't touch them!!
