Not sure where to put this so admin feel free to move.
I got this from my local Neighbourhood watch police e-mail.Its about Hereford but I should think it applies to neighbourhood counties too

"West Mercia Police have recently received the following message from our Colleagues across the border – please take note

“Can you help please, my name is Matthew Morris and I am a Community Officer with Gwent Police and we have recently received information that some of our local criminals from the Rhymney  are travelling to the board’s area to steal livestock in order to sell it to a Butcher in a nearby town. The thieves usually target pigs but this could change closer to Christmas.

Please would you be able to put a message on your messaging system warning local farmers in your area to keep an eye open in the next few weeks. If you have any CCTV footage of individuals that you don’t know, you can forward the stills to me and I will try to identify them for you and provide you with a statement

If you require more information Please email me or ring me on 01633 838111 option 1 and then extension 754 2065 /2064
