and how come the pigs in emmerdale have a tiny paddock and its not muddy, and neither do they squeal blue murder at the sight of a human?
Sssshhhh, Don't tell anyone, but emmerdale isn't real!
Isn't it? Are you sure? You'll be telling me Coronation street isn't next  :huff:

Hi all.. The pigs used in Downton were ours. No OSB's. Actually our Tamworths, Berkshires and a cross of the two to give the tortoiseshell look. Unfortunately we didn't have enough Tamworths so had to include the others. Agree it was all a bit confusing! All starring pigs now into hams for Christmas! This is quite an attractive cross.  I was at Wimpole Hall Farm a few months back and they had Tamworth X berkshires.  Lovely looking and similar to the OSB's

Lady Mary will be very cross if she doesn't get some if the profit! Especially as she got so muddy saving them from dying of thirst!
