Hi, from a warm, but gloomy West Cornwall.  Whereabouts in Bucks ?  I went to school in High Wycombe many moons ago and my Mum still lives locally.  Lovely county with the best bluebell woods !

Hhmmm.... Between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury. Sounds like Dinton or Haddenham.  We lived in Haddenham for two years. If I could have transported that village to Somerset, I would have found the perfect place to set up a smallholding.

Do let us know exactly where you are.
