I have childhood memories of sleeping in the back of my dad's Karman Ghia, his first car.  I still love seeing them in old movies, soooo coool I don't think they knew what seatbelts were in those days  ;) ;D :&>

Loved my old van - only sold him after we bought the farm as I was only treating him like a pickup truck to cart stuff about so got a real pickup.

Arh, memories, ::) I remember my cousins Beetle breaking down when we were coming back from a Butlins holiday in Minehead :innocent: ...we gave them a lift back to Leicester in our mini plus their luggage and my cousins a BIG man....we dropped them off then our engine blew too.....Beetles were so not good to be in the back of, and minis gave you hallucinations if  you were a passenger in the back with the window open.  I remember our courting days (there's a nice word ), we would borrow my father in laws Morris 1000 Traveller, hay in the back the lot.....I loved that car/van, that's another I did want but not anymore!!
