We're hopefully picking up two new Ryeland ewes this coming weekend. I'm very excited but am protective of my "clean" pasture.
Following SCOPS guidelines I am Zolvix-ing them etc. If I worm them as they go onto the trailer so the wormer is working on the journey, how long do you think it will be before any worms expelled will be dead? I've looked everywhere for this info but can't find an answer. I know that some livestock markets offer Zolvix/Startect worming before animals move to new holdings.
I will keep them shut in the shelter away from the others anyway at least overnight and will poo pick in the shelter - but I'm just interested if anyone knows the answer?
