 :o Good luck  ;D

I've managed half marathons and there is no way I could run all the back to make a full marathon distance once I've crossed crawled over the finish line  :tired:

I used to do half marathons and similar events when I was younger, no way I could do a whole marathon now, especially now they're called snickers.

I'd probably be classified as morbidly obese... But his will be my 5th time doing it.... Amazing to what the mind can make the body do.

Excellent, good for you!

I ran the New York Marathon in 1994, unforgettable experience but never did another, one was enough for me!

I got turned down for the previous 5 years in a row.... Only ever got a place previously by taking a charity Golden  Bond place.

Andy, would I be right in thinking you are a trifle miffed?

I generally do the carb loading.... Other than that it's pure stubbornness that gets me round.
