The new Archbishop of Canterbury has also turned down involvement in the RSPCA, traditionally over the past decades the A of C has been a patron....says it all really!

The RSPCA as we once knew it was infiltrated and taken over by extremists decades ago.

Good that they're getting press attention for the right reasons at last - overzealous is one thing, blatant manipulation of the media, blackmail campaigns for fundraising, attempting to discredit and bully anyone that disagrees with the, this isn't a charity it's a corporation that doesn't have to pay the government a decent rate of tax but gets free access to personal data to pursue and bully more people.  They give animal welfare a bad name and the sooner the Charities Commission puts a stop to the tactics and makes charities be CHARITABLE both to people and animals rather than only to their own pockets, the better  >:(

I have said this so many times  but after working for several charities, unless they are business like they end up with no funds to do anything, its not good but that's how they are run, maybe not all, I have no  idea but the ones I  know certainly do things like doctor figures to get more funding, twist facts and take out their own  huge slice and class it as expenses, the best charities are the small ones, people who run small rescues etc.....A friend of mine is going it alone in the disability care field, she works very hard to give a fair and proper service, I just hope she gets enough funding to keep her going, its the very same with animals.  Charity begins at home !
