They are mammy's boys!
We've so many as we're soft sods.
Winston was our first stud ram purchased from the Whitehall flock, then Whitehall
Noah followed a couple of years later to give us some new blood.
Dante-the one looking straight at the camera with the white markings-was one of our first two born. He was such a cutie as a baby, used to appear between our legs for a fuss(still tries sometimes

). He's still a big baby and great natured. His brother
Docherty had rattle belly as a baby and plucked our heartstrings too. He grew up to be a great big fella, handsome too. He's gone with his own hareem to Scarborough.
D'Artagnan and
Donatello were another two born that year (2010). We kept them as they were stunners from day one and we hoped to find them homes. Donatello was silver from birth, unusual in Gotlands and from darned good stock.
Ebony, born 2011 was another obviously gorgeous boy who remained all black from birth whilst his fellows turned the usual Gotland silver, hence the moniker. He's got the most stunning soft fleece and has produced great lambs this year as has D'Arty.
Ferdinand was kept back from the abattoir last year (you may remember his story)
We've kept no intact rams this year!!! Honest
We've been stupid sods but I don't regret keeping a single one. Dante's gonna get some action this year and Donatello is going to a lovely lady down in Somerset. I really hope we still can find homes for the remaining boys but in the meantime I shall continue to enjoy the lurve
