Selling up :( Market Drayton
« on: July 18, 2013, 07:56:11 pm »
Unfortunately I am selling everything.  Gutted. more info and pics on request. No idea on prices, ideally would like to sell sheep and sheep equipment as a job lot. Make me an offer...

  • There is a flock of around 16 good ewes, all 2 years old, had one crop of lambs out of them.  Mostly blue faced leicester / Lleyn and a couple of border leicester / Lleyn.
  • 4 cade lambs - 1 good ram lamb, 1 good ewe lamb, 2 freezer lambs (all Charollais out of the above breeds)
  • 20 brand new 6' hurdles plain steel
  • 10ish blue calf buckets and rings to hang them on hurdles
  • 5x 25kg reels of 2mm galvanised wire
  • mains energiser (can't go until after the stock)
  • 100ish plastic fence posts
  • 6-7km of polywire if you can be bothered to reel it in!
  • drench gun
  • some lambing kit
Also
  • Toro Wheelhorse ride on mower, deck needs welding
  • unidentified ride on mower, deck beyond repair
  • trampoline
  • hardwood garden furniture
  • strimmers
  • woodworking machines and tools
  • table saw
  • pillar drill
  • couple of routers
  • router table
  • circular saw
  • morticer
  • dovetail jig
  • kitchen worktop jig (and drainer grooves jig & heat rod jig)
  • Landy Series 2a V8 petrol beast project.  Engine runs.
  • Shedful of team building games and exercises
  • Office equipment and furniture
  • Computers
  • Lovely old roll top desk (must go to good home)

Sorry for the random nature of the items - I'm selling everything except my kayak, skis and camera!  You can message me through the forum, or get me on 07974 353754.

£12 (only done one round of dosing), £10 (or whatever seems mutually reasonable - there are only bits and bobs and various drugs and stuff), and £10 each.

Sorry to hear things aren't working out for you.

I may be interested in the polywire and posts and a few other bits but I'm waiting for a bill from my neighbour for hedging and drainage work so might not have any funds left once that's paid.  I'll let you know.

Thanks Sbom, calf buckets cost about £4 each I think, and they're only 6 months old so how about £3 each?

No probs Dogwalker, just let me know and if they're not sold they're yours for the taking!

Hi Tonka, thanks very much.

Pic of sheep attached.  There are 19 of them. Bucket trained, and one in particular loves a fuss and a back scratch. The blue faces are in pretty good rising condition, I was going to sponge them and send the tup in beginning August.  The white faces have a bit less condition on them, but are rising nicely. The other part of the flock was just sold by my mate for £150 each and they were flock ages, these are all the same age.  I am thinking around the same price or slightly less to a good home, so somewhere around £130 if they go to someone here.

Wire - 1000m rolls like these are going for £60 on ebay, so £30 if you're taking the sheep too?

Buckets - free if you buy the sheep!

Hope that sounds reasonable...

Hiya, make me an offer... Trampoline free if you dismantle it.  I can't guarantee I'd be able to deliver, but there's a fair chance, would have to hire a trailer.

Hi, can you pm me a contact number please? I have a friend who's just starting up and may be interested in the hurdles.
Cheers
