dead chick

the chick was about eight weeks old and bought up by a broody, yesterday it looked off colour and today it is dead. this is not the first time this has happened as last year I lost all hatching at four plus months old. First they go off their food and I have tried antibiotics, worming and hand feeding but they all died. I do have other incubated birds that are older and seem to be ok so far. Can anyone think of why these birds are dying?

I cannot think why they would be dying.

I am presuming that you feed them chick crumb with coccidiostat already in?
