£300?  or 300 miles?

Grange over Sands isn't far from Blackpool - they have a terrific swimming pool and lots to do last time we were there.

Hello Linz

Have a look at Chester - its a lovely town with nice shops and cafe's, the Zoo is one of the best anywhere, there is museums, arts and craft stores, and other things to do.#

It is about 1 and a half hours drive and 75 miles away from Blackpool.

Lookup Chester on the net to see if it would suit you

Have a nice holiday

Yes, will second Chester - it would be the perfect antidote to Blackpool!

Come to think of it, how about a day trip to Chester Zoo?

Thanks,

I'll look up Chester (I belive my brother-in-law is from the area)

At the moment not really interested in the zoo (doesn't appeal to little T or big T, but next year we'll have a little one who like their mummy would love to go to the zoo lol)

Thanks

Hi Linz
You could go to Dublin for a couple of days from Liverpool or Holyhead - Liverpool is the longest ferry journey but the boys will enjoy it.

Don't know the cost, but travellodges are about 35 euro per night, and there are lots of
B & Bs.

You can see Dublin on the tour bus, theres lots to do and see.  Check ferry crossings for a mid week or two day special price etc.
