Coloured and white Ryeland fleeces for sale
« on: May 29, 2013, 08:47:40 am »
Shearer's been and we have some coloured and white Ryeland fleeces for sale. They have been roughly skirted and the worst of the vegetable matter removed.

I'm not a fleece expert but the shearer could find no kemp (I asked him to show me some and even on our oldest ewes, he couldn't find any) and he was impressed by the staple length and strength.

I haven't weighed them but they're a good armful.

They are £7 each plus P&P

Thanks for looking :-)

Nope, won't make it to the Highland.  No rush this end - but do you want the fleeces oot the road?

I was in Twist Fibre in Newburgh yesterday and saw them advertising shetland fleeces for someone so thought I'd mention your ad on here.  Laura the owner said she'd be happy to post your details there for her spinners, weavers and felters, if you want?
