Hi to you all,
I have not been on here for a while.  I have a new job which keeps me very busy and my garden and veggies have just sprung into life.  Just a quick update, we have lost 2 of our rescue hens, the heat wave I think, out black lab Barney is getting old now and has had a few mini stokes or something, occasionally he walks lob sided. My computer has had a virus and been hacked, my bank details stolen along with money, so my computer has been out of action for quite a while. Short of money just like everyone else but surviving, I'm glad we grow our own veg etc.  Eggs plentiful at the moment, only 7 layers but the other day I got 10 eggs.  Busy baking and freezing, my rhubarb has gone berserk, loads of it. Missing my daughters and grandson terribly as I can't afford to go down to London and Kent to see them this summer, but my sister is coming up in September for a week, I'm looking forward to seeing her, we will be busy practising baking her wedding cake as she has asked me to make it and decorate it with silk butterflies.  She's not getting married until 2011, but we are planning now.  She has asked me to be her witness, I am very honoured and looking forward to it.
Just going to bed now as I have to in work for 7am tomorrow to take minutes on a disciplinary hearing for a member of night staff at the nursing home.
How is everyone, probably loads of new members now.?????

Welcome back, Elaine.  Sorry to hear your woes but glad you're keeping them in order.  Yes, a few new members on here, I've lost two hens to my GWP (they were suicidal fence jumpers so not entirely her fault), lots of folk worrying about something and nothing - as usual.  Life goes on!
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Hello again :), bad things always happen in bungles!!!! I know lot's of people who have had money stolen from the computer, I nearly did but the company who someone had placed an order with, rang me as it was a differed delivery address to the payment address, I worried how it happened but apparently there are people who sit connected to the internet with combinations of numbers until they find a live bank account!!!!! I know plenty of other people who have had this done to them as well. Hope things pick up so less downs in your life and more ups :)
