Went outside and cut some of the alliums to bring a bit of colour inside.

Strange - I just thought today I should really grow some alliums again... Lovely flowers.

But why is it that so many of the photos you all post come out sideways?  ???

Either that or twice as large as my screen.

How the hell are they in flower, it's been too cold here for any to be that well deveoped. My daffs haven't finished yet. As for the chelsea chop, if I did my lysmachia now it would be back at ground level.

I've got alliums this year for the first time and they're just coming out - love them. Slightly strange situation at the moment with a few daffs hanging on (on north facing walls), tulips just going over, bluebells in full blossom and alliums just coming out. I don't remember seeing them all out at the same time before.

Been a brilliant day for gardening here - lots of perennial plants have gone out, veg reseeding done to fill the gaps, and more weeding done (the soil dries out so quickly here, I can only weed for a few days after rain).
