I think that might have been on Grand Designs - it's interesting but I would prefer an old farmhouse in Yorkshire Dales.

It certainly does look like the one on Grand Designs. As I recall weren't the bedrooms really really dark as they were underground and behind the main front glazed rooms.

The view is spectacular but the house is not for me

I think that one was in Cumbria? IIRC - up northwest somewhere anyway. I don't recognise this one from GD.

If I won the lottery (unlikely - I don't play), I'd have someone in to do my fences, get someone to sort the permissions for the planned hydro-power  ::)  ,a new landy, a new stock trailer, a quadbike... (actually, this list is endless  ;D ).

The cottage would be just the thing for me. The house is interesting, but far too large.

Someone has been inside my head and taken my idea and built it, the bu&&er!  This is exactly what I want to do on the sloping bit of my field.  Fantastic way to build new homes.

I'd like to be able to afford to buy it. Don't think I would though, nice as it is. My goats would love that roof though.  :roflanim:

Not for us, there is much better value for money on the market, that one is so overpriced , no use hiding the house then having to build stables and goat sheds etc, pointless .

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.
