Just back from China
« on: May 06, 2013, 08:54:04 pm »
16 days and 8 flights later we are finally home from China.  Fantastic experience.  Such a list of things its all so different but my mind is a blur due to jetlag just now.  :tired: Our kids 9 and 11 had a wonderful time and a real eye opener for them.

No disasters at home really apart from a hen died (well something had to) and the goose egg nest was ransacked by something/someone and all the eggs taken, too bad.  At least our pygmy goat Pebbles has managed to keep in her now due kids, she's due on Friday.  That should give me enough time to get over the jetlag and start a few sleepless nights worrying about her having them in the night then.  ::)  Must say it was actually very relaxing not having animals to think about!

Nice to be home again but I expected there to be more grass by now and trees with leaves on!

Glad you had such a good time. I hope Pebbles doesn't decide to give birth early while you're still jetlagged.

Welcome home, good to hear that you had a fantastic time, will have to bring over your crate and hear all about it once you are over your jetlag and Pebbles has had her kid/kids.

Good to have you back  and very glad there were no major disasters while you were away. :relief:

When you're settled back in, would love to hear about your trip.  I worked in China for a few months in the 80s, I expect it's changed hugely since then.

Thank you.

Yes, lots to tell about China but will post a few photos with it when I catch up, all very very interesting and extremely different, I'll do a fresh post in a few days.
