After much soul-searching we have decided if we can find the right home for our one year old border collie bitch, it would be kinder to re-home her than expect her to adapt to city life when we move. We bred her here on the farm from our own pair of collies. She was the pick of the litter and has beautiful symmetrical tri-colour markings and feathers. She is quick and alert and showing every sign of wanting to work. She is 100% reliable around children, fowl, and cats, and will approach and wait when working with sheep. I took her to puppy socialisation classes and she sailed through her Kennel Club Puppy certificate. She understands all basic commands and many more complex commands. She is happy to be left alone. Sleeps downstairs at night without any complaint and does not attempt to come upstairs. Her only fault is that she has spent so much of her life on the farm with her only her parents , she is uncertain of other dogs she does not know (she will make friends with new dogs she meets regularly.) So if this is required she may need a little patience and encouragement. She is a much loved, intelligent and obedient dog and we would only consider a new family for her if it was absolutely right. If you are considering a good useful dog without the chewing furniture/toilet-training stage get in touch.
