Strangest thing i've ever seen.
« on: July 12, 2009, 09:35:07 am »
A few days ago I was walking round by the church which backs on to our garden, when i saw an animal lying at the side of the road, upon inspection I realised unfortunately that it was dead, i looked up to see the vicar walking towards me and i said to him what a shame this rabbit has been knocked down and killed. 'Its hind legs are too big to be a rabbit, its a hare' he said as he knelt down beside it, now lets see if its too late for the poor chap. he pulled a small bottle from his pocket and gently poured some of the liquid into the animals mouth.
imagine my amazement as it woke up, jumped to its feet and ran off over the field, but what really confused me was that as it ran away every few seconds it would turn round to us and wave and then continue on it way.  'That's incredible' i gasped what on earth was in that bottle?  Oh this? the vicar said........... its just something my wife bought me last Christmas..........  Hare restorer with permenant wave! ;

And me, but I've an excuse - I'm weak and befuddled tonight. ;D
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

I worked in an upper School and the town where I worked had a factory that produced batteries, I used to teach Science to pupils who would be excluded and built up good relationships with them so when  after the lunch break one of then said there had been a break in at the Battery factory I believed him, then he added, they were holding one on charge, i still believed him then the Penny dropped...I am too trustins!!!
