Maybe have a look on Aberdeen Gumtree, it seems to be the place for inexpensive but running/taxed/MOTd motors I know what you mean tho, we had to get our used x trail from the Midlands! There were some up here but very overpriced for the age we wanted.

thanks. gumtree has a fair few so i think take a bit more time to browse. i kinda fancy a duel cab toyota hilux.
thanks

if i had £6k spare i would have bought the 1978 campervan on gumtree...lol...i love them ... :excited:

They wouldn't be my first recommendation for a reliable cheapish runabout.

I have a P reg Rav4 5door. With a set of snow (not mud) tyres on it I wouldn't change it for anything.
Should pick one up for under £1000.
It got me out of here when landrovers were struggling. Good for around the fields and comfortable to drive.

Ssanyong - musso , rexton,
Kia - sportage , sorento

we got our new car today after a week of flat batterys with the disco. ended up with a seat alhambra of all things, with the idea i can take the seats out if i need to then i have a sort of van but hopefully itl be our "clean" car... :roflanim: its really nice and a bargain too so fingers crossed it works just fine.
i saw a ford ranger dual cab today so i think il save up for one of those eventually.

thanks for everyone advice, much appreciated.
