Betsy already has a good nose on her 

I've never been one to believe a Basset can be trained, our last one wasn't!! Very much a nose on legs who did what she liked  . Thats what I love about their personality, very independant characters

I so remember being a teenager baby sitting, they gave me strict instructions not to let their Basset hound in the lounge, it had stayed in the kitchen all night until I went into the kitchen to wash a cup then the little (BIG) sod got out and layed in the lounge and no way could I shift it, then the owners came home......they are the most stubborn dogs I know but so lovely too!
