Turkey eggs.
I got a really good result yesterday. I called on a friend and during our conversation, he told me about a chap a few miles up the road from our place, who keeps turkeys. Later on in the day I dropped in on the chap, who turned out to be a really friendly person.
He'd got what looked to be a Norfolk Black stag and four or five Cambridge Blue hens? I'd not heard of the latter before but they were nice looking bronze coloured birds with just a hint of slatey blue about them. After an interesting chat, I was given 18 of turkey eggs to try in the incubator. As you can imagine, I'm dead chuffed with my gift and they'll be going into the incubator later on today.
A quick Google has produced this useful information. I just hope that I manage to hatch some. They look attractive birds, like turkeys used to be.
