Hi a long shot but we need to collect a single soay ram, it's only a 10 mile journey but we don't have a trailer to transport him in, does anyone have one we could borrow is weekend or hire? We are in Worcestershire.

Estate car with dog guard, a tarp on the floor, with a bit of straw to mop up any accident  ;D

That's not a bad idea, won't it go a bit crazy in such a small space?

I have transported a Shetland ram in the back of my van on short journeys and apart from some  window bumping with horns he travels not to bad. Windows dont feature much in the life of a sheep me thinks.
Shetland sheep, Castlemilk Moorits sheep, Hebridean sheep, Scots Grey Bantams, Scots Dumpy Bantams. Shetland Ducks.

Hi Shaun,

It's going from the Hereford side of Malvern to martley.
We have a subaru outback estate, I'm just a bit worried it might get really stressed and smash a window? Also need a dog guard lol !!

i do know of a friend whose sheep jumped straight through the windscreen.
at least with a horned breed, you can tie rope round its horns.
