someone in a previous thread/discussion, asked me what rights we had actually lost since all this 'terrorist ' stuff,

I must admit to only reading the first bit and in generalities it was reasonably accurate but like all of the things either for or against, leaves out the salient bits that hinders its cause or weakens its argument.....
it says its a new thing, but as an example.... internment..... happened due to previous terrorist activity as a reaction, (rightly or wrongly)....
the law is ever evolving and changing.... its why the highest represented profession in the House of Commons is the legal profession... why do you think laws are complicated... if they were simple the lawyers couldn't make as much money :o
