When do you all first let mums and kids out to play?

If they are on the dam I would let them out fairly early on, a few days after kidding, if on the bottle mine stay in for a few weeks - just to make sure they don't suckle from mum again... also prevents the runs due to them eating grass on a full tummy of warm milk... but if they suckle little and often they are fine outside. You would have to make sure you watch out for worms etc early on though.

I let mine out with their mums after a few days if the weather is nice - my paddocks have shelters. And if not, I let them out, one family at a time, to have the run of the goat byre for an hour or so each.
