Have you tried Kent Wool Growers? Or some of the other country stores? Don't know that they do it or what the price would be like but worth a try. My first port of call would just be to ask the local farmers in our village because I know they all grew some last year so if you know any, ask around. Where abouts in Kent are you?

Cheers,

Hester

Hi,near Canterbury the Agri stores want nearly £400 a tonne bagged,I'm used to paying £200 or less per tonne.Grainharvesters are better on price on price but you have to buy 4 tonne loose minimum order.I think I would need a hopper 7m cubbed to store that lot I probably use 3 to 4 tonne a year.

Which side of Canterbury? And can you collect? I'm in the triangle between Canterbury, Ashford and Folkestone so it sounds like we're not far apart. I can ask around for you but you might need to collect...

Hi,I live the Chartham side of Canterbury and know out your way fairly well,I can collect a loose tonne in my trailer and 2 tonne Loose at a push I should have thought. Its wheat I'm after not barley as that isn't realy suitable for feeding poultry.

Thanks very much for any help you can give on this one.

First try sold all theirs last year. Second thought has just gone skiing (see there is money in farming) so it's not looking hopeful. I'll give another neighbour a ring tomorrow to see whether they hung on to any.
