  Hi Bigant!!  I know that area but moved up here to sunny (sometimes) Scotland, although I do love it. I only have a few hens now, downsized and ready to move but, who knows?
Welcome!!

Hi from South Cheshire! Sounds like a good project! Out of interest whereabouts do you source your ex batt hens from?

i got my girls from Luckyhens in wigan someone was heading this way so managed to get them dropped off :) http://luckyhensrescuenorthwest.weebly.com/ is there website. i have heard of somewhere local that serves as a drop off point for a rescue group as well so looking into that as i intend to expand the flock :)

thank you all for the warm welcome :) a little more about me. i am 28 years old and spent my childhood on a small farm that was also a wildlife rescue center so i have always been around animals. i went for ex batts as i cant stand cruelty.. if i had my way i would rescue them all but i don't have that much room :(
