cloudy whites in eggs

can anyone help with a problem we have with cloudy whites in our eggs ,the hens are about 2 1/2 years old ex batts ,in a couple there have been cloudy  white patches ,we not eaten them ,they dont look very nice !!! any suggestions would be great, thanks

hi this is lula s other half .. we cooked the first couple n looked fine .... and a friend had some off us he put them in an egg n bacon pie . .  and said it tasted good .... but the eggs just dont look right.......

if your talking about the stringy things they are normal and can very between eggs.

Hmmm, just thinking - do you see this in supermarket eggs?  I've never thought about the whites at all, I must admit.  Just bung them in a pan, bowl and whisk up, or into a cake. If I know my hens are healthy and eating only what I want them to, and drinking fresh water, I don't really pay attention to the eggs.
