An amazing website for smallholding resources
« on: November 23, 2012, 06:15:46 pm »
I just stumbled upon the cd3wd.com website, and you really need to take a look too!

Quote
d3wd is a free but high quality collection of practical How-To Technical Development Information - helping the 3rd world to help itself.

There are 4000 titles, totalling 13 gigabytes.

We host cd3wd free online and we also - very importantly - make it available for free download and onward dissemination via flash ram, CD, DVD, external hard drive etc..

So that's it really! A fascinating library covering everything from rabbit and salmon farming to solar energy to assessing the wear rates of wooden bearings!  If you're a practical type, you're bound to find some good ideas here - I know I have!

Start at this link for the good stuff!

Cheers,

Womble.

You'll need adobe reader, I think they are probably all pdf files - it's free to download.  Just google it.

That's wierd - it just seems to be a collection of PDF files from what I can see. Oh well - use at your own risk I guess!  :dunce:
