Cream Legbar Male - Fife
« on: January 02, 2013, 11:08:05 am »
My name is Quack, i am a 25 week old Cream Legbar Male, looking for a forever adoptive family. im currently residing in rural fife, but if someone is able to adopt me i will travel where ever!
 My Story

My mother abandoned me as an egg, she left me in a cold dark place. another kind of bird started laying eggs around me, for once in my life i felt wanted!
21days later i broke through the hard walls of my egg! to find i was surrounded still by eggs and no sign of life - my hatch mother(who i now know to be a Duck) left for food one day and i ventured out into the wide world at a few hours old. she returned to the other eggs, i could not get back under her.
I was cold and on verge of death when a strange tall animal scooped me up and stuck me in a strange room!
i lived in this strange little room(which i now know was a plactic box) for a few hours i felt at home and wanted for perhaps the first time in my life!
i fell asleep - i woke up in this cold wooden hut thing, alone, no wait there was someone else with me....i approached this other feathered being with caution fearing rejection once more! but this was different i have a mother! franchesca the pekin took me under my wing!
several days later i wan introduced to my step siblings, they bullied me, but now we are equals!
6 weeks ago, another tradedy struck - my mum disappeared! she was found by the tall ones floating in what is called the duck pond! my hatch mother's husband had drowned her!
everyday this haunts me, i cannot keep staying here not with all these horrible experiences, i see my real father penned away on his own, beaten up my a smaller bantam - he couldnt fend for me then and he cant now! i do not want to face the same fate.
for the one of sum of £5, you could help me!

I'd have him in a millisecond, Cam, as I have two young legbar girls (white?) but once he starts crowing my neighbours might complain, they have a B & B next door.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
