Local Goat club (There's a Worcs Goat Society) and you only need one book Goat Husbandry by David McKenzie. Also depends on what you want the goats for :)
While McKenzie's is the most detailed book, and the one I usually rely on, I think it can be a bit heavy going at times, maybe better to read a couple of more lightweight books and get a little understanding before heading for the top diving board? (meaning McKenzies book of course) ;D
(but certainly good to get all the info before embarking on the adventure)

Agreed.  I was given a couple but found it too hard going.  I felt I needed to know about goats to be able to understand it.

 Still laughing about the rescue centres full of people who couldn't cope with goats. Maybe I should open one of those. Anyone in need of rehabilitaion? Goat free area provided with ear muffs so you can't hear my two.

Me, please, OP.   ;)  I'd rather be in with the goats though.  :goat:
